  Our Proprietary Methodology - Cepstrum

The Cepstrum technology is uniquely implemented by Viking to create improved geophysical data to sharpen and filter potential drilling prospects. Viking has developed a series of sophisticated analytical methods using the Cepstrum software.

Three Scientific Aspects of Our Technology
  Phase Inversion Deconvolution
Creates a zero-phase seismic trace, essential for noise reduction and well-log correlation
  Residual Phase Moveout
Aligns the seismic reflectivity series in the CDP gather
Provides proper phase response – critical for all types of rock property calculations, i.e., AVO, Lambda Mu Rho, Fluid Stacks

Wavelet Based Absorption
Measures the speed of the loss of the high frequencies in the seismic trace
Loss of high frequencies is generally associated with hydrocarbons, and becomes an excellent Direct Hydrocarbon Indicator

The bottom line is that no other independent oil and gas company utilizes the Cepstrum methodology as we do and we have at least a 5 year lead on using and proving our methods
